Bio

Zach Ruhland was named the new Director of Athletic Performance in June of 2023

Ruhland joined the Raven Athletic Department in the Summer of 2021 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Performance. He previously served as a graduate assistant for the college that started in the winter of 2020.

Before his time at Benedictine, Ruhland served as an assistant for St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota working with all sports across campus. He has also spent time as an intern working at Eastern Michigan University during the summer of 2016 as well as at DC Everest High School in Schofield, Wisconsin during the summer of 2015. Lastly, spent time working with football at Eau Claire Memorial High School in Eau Claire, Wisconsin as their assistant Athletic Performance Coach during the school year from 2014-2017.

Ruhland is originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Movement Studies as well as a Minor in Psychology in 2017. He received his Master of Business Administration from Benedictine College in 2021.

Zach Ruhland is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS).
