Head Coach Eric Peterson announced the addition of Greg May to his coaching staff in June of 2023.
Greg May joins the Benedictine College Ravens to fill the role of assistant baseball, serving as the Ravens’ pitching coach and recruiting coordinator as his main duties. Coach May comes to the Ravens after a successful one-season stint as pitching coach at Pasco-Hernando State College helping them to a 39-win season and the regular season Suncoast Conference champions. Coach May arrives with a a17-year coaching career, 10 years as an assistant at the NCAA DII, DIII; NJCAA DI; NAIA levels, and a lone year as head coach for the Lynx of Lincoln College IL before the school's total closure in 2022.
Coach May started his coaching career in 2006 at the high school level, first in Whitefish Montana with the Glacier Twins American Legion team and finishing at Malibu high school in 2012. Coach May also served as an intern at the Texas Baseball Ranch under well-respected pitching performance, velocity training, and arm health expert Ron Wolforth. As a player, Coach May was a four-year member of the Claremont-Mudd-Script Staggs Baseball team serving every pitching role called upon. He played one season of semi-professional baseball for the Dordrecht Hawks in the Netherlands Professional Baseball League. Coach May has a BS in History/Government from Claremont McKenna College and an M.A.M from the University of Redlands. Coach May is a Los Angeles native and proud uncle of two nieces.
