(9) Football draws (1) Keiser University in NAIA FCS Semifinals on Saturday in West Palm Beach, Fla.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With the upset this past Saturday over No. 3 Indiana Wesleyan University, Benedictine Football will continue its run through the NAIA Football Championship Series traveling to West Palm Beach, Fla, to take on defending NAIA National Champion and No. 1-ranked Keisar University on Saturday in the FCS Semifinals. 

Benedictine beat IWU 20-9 to advance to the semifinals against the Seahawks. Keiser has hosted both of their two playoff games, beating No. 20 Pikeville (Ky.) 56-21 in the FCS Second Round, and then last week, they earned a 38-22 win over No. 11 Georgetown (Ky.) in the FCS Quarterfinals.

This is the sixth overall appearance in the NAIA Football Championship for Keiser. They entered this year's playoffs with a 10-4 FCS record and were one of three undefeated teams in the FCS field. Benedictine handed one of the other previously undefeated teams – Texas Wesleyan – its first loss of the season in the Second Round. Along with Keisar, Grand View University is the third undefeated team in the FCS and they host Morningside University on Saturday in the other FCS Semifinal.
