Football ranked No. 3 in NAIA GoRout Top 25 Postseason Coaches' Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA released its NAIA Football GoRout Top 25 Postseason Coaches' Poll on Monday, and Benedictine Football earned the No. 3 spot in the poll.

After going 11-3 and earning a spot in the FCS Semifinals, the Ravens earned 315 points in the poll to finish tied with Morningside University in the rankings. 

Grand View University earned 350 points as the 2024 National Champions while Keiser University earned 336 points for the No. 2 ranking.

The Ravens and the Vikings are two of four Heart of America Athletic Conference programs to finish inside the poll. MNU earned 154 points at No. 15 while Baker University earned 109 points at No. 17. In addition to the two other Heart programs ranked in the poll, the Ravens second round opponent Texas Wesleyan earned 215 points at No. 11 and the Ravens quarterfinal opponent Indiana Wesleyan earned 276 points at No. 6.

Benedictine finished the season at No. 6 in the NAIA in points per game (44.1) and second in scoring (617 points). They also ranked No. 2 in passing yards (4,336 yards), No. 4 in passing touchdowns (41) and passing yards per completion (16.1). Defensively, the Ravens ranked No. 2 in interceptions (24) and sacks (42). 

Individually, Jackson Dooley ranked fifth in yards per game (296.6) and fourth in passing touchdowns (39). Jacob Gathright ranked third in the NAIA in total receiving yards (1,343) and 11th in receiving yards per game (95.9).
