Football schedule for 2025 officially released

With Spring Practice underway for Benedictine Football, head coach Joel Osborn has officially announced the schedule for 2025.

"Our kids are working very hard this off-season in preparation for our 2025 season," Coach Osborn said. "Each week will present its own challenges so we will have to take it one week at a time. The support we receive from our fans is unmatched at our level. We have six home games this year and are excited to get back in front of Raven Nation on August 30 when we open our season against Morningside."

As Coach Osborn mentioned, the Ravens first opponent of the season will be a home game during Week 0 as the Ravens continue the series with the Mustangs on Aug. 30. 

This year's schedule features six home games. Alumni Day will be celebrated on Aug. 30 with special recognition of the 1985, 1995, 2000, and 2020 teams. Stars & Stripes and Atchison Community Day will be celebrated on Aug. 13 against Graceland. Family Weekend is Sept. 27 and will feature the Ravens against Peru State. 

The only home on the schedule in October is Homecoming on Oct. 25 as the Ravens host William Woods University. 

The final two games of the home schedule are Nov. 1 with Missouri Valley College where we will celebrate Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day. Senior Day will take place on Nov. 15 when the Ravens host MNU in the regular season finale.

The Ravens are coming off a spot in the NAIA Football Championship Series Semifinals and an overall record of 11-3 after winning the Heart South Championship with a Heart record of 5-1 in 2024. The Ravens earned the No. 3 ranking in the Postseason NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
