Alex Land joined the Benedictine Football Staff in July of 2024 as the program's new Run Game Coordinator, running backs, and tight ends coach.

He joins the Ravens after serving as the offensive line and tight ends coach at Whitworth University since March of 2022. While at Whitworth, an NCAA Div. III program, he guided the offensive line to rankings in sacks allowed, yards per play, and points per game. He coached a total of 10 all-conference selections with a player signed to profession to the IFL.

He started his coaching career at his alma mater, Weber State University in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Weber State in Physical Education. As a player at Weber State, he was a four-year letterman playing in 46 games with 35 starts on the offensive line at center, guard, and tackle. Between Weber State and Whitworth, Coach Land spent time at Bonneville High School, Greensboro College, UC Davis, and Valparaiso University coaching offensive line, defensive tackles, tight ends, and serving in an offensive quality control role.
