Combined 27 recognized as 2024 Track & Field Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A combined 27 members of the Benedictine Track & Field program have earned 2024 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors after the Association released the two annual lists prior to the start of the Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

The Women's 2024 list features 1203 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution.

Alison Ambuul, Alyssa Hall, Anna Campbell, Antonia Smith, Catherine Aaron, Catherine Starrs, Cayna Love, Emilie Nelson, Emily Zoque, Grace Godard, Jessie Sonnen, Julia McLaughlin, Mary Rowles, Michelle Zarybnicky, and Siena Michael represented the Raven Women on the list. 

Avery Cozzi , Ben Shonka, David Mannella, Gabriel Friess, Gabriel Joerger, Gustav Kussman, Jonah Roberts, Joseph Accruso, Maximilian Schandler, Micah Munoz, Pietro Contolini, and Reese Danitscheck represented the Raven Men on the list.

The Men's 2024 list features 873 student-athletes who achieved at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (GPA) at their institution. 

To be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year at said institution.

The annual NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships runs from May 22-24 and is being hosted by Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Ind.
