Owen Nolte earns Heart honors for Men's Outdoor Track & Field

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine's Own Nolte earned Heart of America Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field honors for the program on Monday.

Nolte was named the Heart Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week after earning a second-place finish in the 5,000-meter Racewalk last week at Friends University. The reigning NAIA Indoor National Champion in the Men's Racewalk, finished his race in a time of 23:03.60 to hit the NAIA "A" Standard to qualify for the 2025 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

Three weeks into the outdoor season, Nolte has the eighth-best time in the event and has the second-best time in the event in the Heart.

Benedictine returns to action on Friday, traveling to Warrensburg, Mo., for the annual UCM Relays hosted by the University of Central Missouri.
