Bio

Jacob Connealy, a Benedictine Alumni, was named the Director of Cross Country and Track & Field at Benedictine in the fall of 2023. He initially joined the staff at Benedictine in January of 2023 as an assistant coach for the Track & Field program. He graduated from Benedictine in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Before coming back to Benedictine, he coached track and field at Mount Michael Benedictine High School and Gross Catholic High School. At Mount Michael he worked with throwers and jumpers, having several state qualifiers. At Gross Catholic, he worked primarily with the high jump.

While at Benedictine as an undergraduate he competed on the track team as a Heptathlete and Decathlete. During this time, he was an eight-time conference Champion. On the National level, he finished his career as an All-American Decathlete earning 6^th place at the NAIA Outdoor National Championship in 2015.

Jacob and his wife, Chelsey, were just married this past summer and are excited to be a part of the Benedictine College community!
