Kaylen Moore sweeps first Heart Women's Lacrosse weekly honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On the heels of a win in the home opener for No. 5 Benedictine Women's Lacrosse, Kaylen Moore has swept the first Heart of America Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors as she has earned both the Offensive and Defensive honors.

Moore scored 5 goals and tallied 7 assists in the Ravens 26-5 win over No. 11 Marian (Ind.) on Saturday at Legacy Field. She also finished the match with 12 of the Ravens 29 draw controls, which helped establish the offensive possession for Benedictine throughout much of the game.

Defensively, she added a team-high five ground balls and 2 caused turnovers.

The Ravens are scheduled to host Ottawa University on Saturday at 11 a.m. in a non-conference game on Legacy Field, but the forecast for Saturday could alter the schedule again. Be sure to check www.ravenathletics.com or the Raven Athletics official social media accounts for any potential schedule changes.
