
New duo for Women's Lacrosse sweeps weekly Heart honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Benedictine Women's Lacrosse swept the weekly Heart honors on Monday, presented by Boxout.
Kaylen Moore was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Molly Owen earned her first weekly honors as she was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.
The Ravens went 2-0 on the week, beating No. 8 Missouri Baptist University on Saturday in the Heart Network Game of the Week.
For the week, Moore finished with 15 points, scoring 13 goals with 2 assists. She also finished with 17 draw controls and 5 caused turnovers as she became the program's all-time leader in career caused turnovers in the win over the Spartans.
Owen went 2-0 in goal for the Ravens, finishing the week with 15 saves that included 13 in the win over Missouri Baptist University.
Benedictine wraps up its home regular season schedule at 4 p.m. Monday with a game against Culver-Stockton College.
