Kaylen Moore earns second weekly NAIA honors of the season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the third time this season, a member of (2) Benedictine Women's Lacrosse team has earned weekly NAIA honors.

Kaylen Moore was named the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season on Tuesday for her efforts in Benedictine's 2-0 week last week. The Ravens posted a pair of road wins over (RV) Ottawa University and (8) Missouri Baptist University.

Moore finished the week with 15 points (11 goals, 4 assists) and an .824 shot on goal percentage with 17 total shots. She also contributed defensively with 12 draw controls, five ground balls, and 4 caused turnovers. In the 18-9 win over Missouri Baptist she became the program's all-time leader in caused turnovers.

With one game remaining in the regular season, Moore currently has 64 goals and 50 assists. She is second in the NAIA in goals, she leads the NAIA in assists, and is second in points (114). Moore also leads the NAIA in draw controls (131) while ranking third in caused turnovers (31) and fifth in ground balls (46).

Benedictine wraps up the regular season on Saturday at 11 a.m. against St. Ambrose University. Monday's win over Culver-Stockton College clinched a share of the program's ninth conference title since 2016.
