Women's Cross Country earns second-place finish at Dordt

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – Benedictine Women's Cross Country returned to action on Saturday with a second-place finish at the Dordt Holiday Inn Express Classic.

The Ravens finished the 6k course in second place out of 10 teams competing in the event behind Dordt.

Julia McLaughlin paced the Ravens with a seventh-place result, finishing in a time of 22:49. She was followed by Catherine Aaron (11th), Emilie Nelson (21st), Alexa Lamb (31st), Helen Ullrich (39th), Gemma Downey (41st) and Mary Cate Golden (44th). 

The team is off through Oct. 26 when they will travel to Ashland, Neb., for the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic hosted by Doane University.
