MARSHALL, Mo. – The run through the Heart Postseason Tournament ended for Women's Soccer on Wednesday at the hands of Missouri Valley College.

The No. 2-seeded Vikings earned a 2-0 win over the No. 3-seeded Ravens to advance to the Heart Postseason Championship Match on Saturday.

The Vikings broke a scoreless draw during the 37th minute to lead 1-0 at the half before adding their second goal during the 75th minute.

Olivia Berry finished with seven saves for the Ravens over 90 minutes in goal. The Vikings outshot the Ravens 13-8 with six of those shots on frame for the Ravens. Megan Homoly finished with two shots as six Ravens tallied the teams shots on goal.

Benedictine now waits for the NAIA Women's Soccer Championship Selection Show on Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. to see if their overall record of 14-5-0 will be good enough to earn the program an at-large berth and a return to the Opening Round.
